· August 1996 - Microsoft Solutions Center, Charlotte Chamber of Commerce. Development of interactive kiosk for teaching/training facility, model concept for Solutions Center.
· May 1996 - Tent concept developed and fabricated for Charlotte Uptown Development Corporation to be used in open air Farmer's Market (Test Market). Design was selected from 3,600 entries for the AIGA (American Institute of Graphic Arts) Certificate of Excellence and included in a traveling exhibition.
· May 1996 - Paper o Scissors o Rock, Arts Commission, "Opportunity Inventory for the City of Charlotte". Concept for beautifying less than attractive facades.
· 1995 - Honorable Mention - Competition Entry for Garden of Justice, Los Angeles County Courthouse Plaza, "Straight Through the Heart".
· August 1995 - Seven entries for "Chairmania" miniature chair designs, auctioned for UNCC College of Architecture Scholarship Fund.
· June 1995 - Organized with the Charlotte Arts and Science Council the first Artists "bench painting" event as a fund raiser for Artists Park, 15 artists participated.
· August 1994 - Winning entry in annual "Birdhouse Competition" for Charlotte, NC Chapter for Habitat for Humanity.
· 1994 - 1995 - Organizer of the first public "Artists Park" in Charlotte, North Carolina. The project will provide a format for local artists to install their work for public display The concept is a revolving series of installations which will provide a changing visual environment and an unrestricted stage for artists with limited opportunities to display their creations in the public realm.
· June 1989 - Organized with Eric Sauda of the UNCC College of Architecture, "Architecture: A Tower for Charlotte" exhibition at Hodges Taylor Gallery.
· June 1986 - Curated and participated in at Jacqueline Heer's Limbo gallery on the Edge" Architecture by the Yard. An exhibit of spontaneous architecture produced by local Charlotte architects.
· April/May 1986 - "New Charlotte Architecture", an exhibition of work by Charlotte and international architects along with a one-day conference organized with Marty Klineman of the UNCC College of Architecture.
· 1985 - The NCAIA Winter Convention Program - Chairman for "Converging Attitudes, Emerging Restraints", exploring the alliances, tensions and aspirations of architects, clients, contractors and developers, Adams Mark Hotel, Charlotte, North Carolina.

· May 1984 - A City by Design "Directions for Charlotte" Co-organized with the NCAIA Programs Committee and the UNCC College of Architecture, a one day design symposium exploring questions and answers for Charlotte's impending growth, Spirit Square Performance Place, Charlotte, North Carolina.
· November 1983 - Tall Buildings in Washington, team leader for design charette exploring the use of large scale architecture in Washington, DC. VPI & SU College of Architecture and Urban Studies, Alexandria Virginia.
